Periodontist & Implant Surgeon
Dr. Jinnu Kim is a board-eligible periodontist specializing in periodontics, dental implants, and advanced implant therapy. He completed his specialty training in Periodontics and Implantology at the University of Southern California, where he also earned a Master of Science degree with a focus on biomedical implants and tissue engineering. Through his advanced surgical training, Dr. Kim has developed comprehensive expertise in periodontal and implant care, including dental implant placement, All-on-X full-arch implant surgery, bone grafting, sinus augmentation, gum grafting, extractions, and the management of complex implant-related procedures. He is also experienced in advanced regenerative therapies and biologic techniques, including growth factors, platelet-rich fibrin, and tissue engineering principles designed to support healing and optimize clinical outcomes. A Torrance native, Dr. Kim is proud to return home to serve the South Bay community where he was raised. He attended Torrance High School before continuing his education on the East Coast, earning his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from New York University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kim is passionate about combining surgical precision, innovation, and compassionate care to help patients restore their oral health, function, and confidence. Having trained at some of the nation's leading institutions, he remains committed to evidence-based dentistry and the latest advancements in implantology, periodontal therapy, and regenerative treatment. He values building long-term relationships with patients and strives to create a comfortable, personalized treatment experience for every individual he treats. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kim enjoys following basketball and soccer, staying active, running by the beach, and spending time in the South Bay community he proudly calls home.
